Lower Cot Mill is a large, three hundred year old granite former corn mill with original granite features and a wood burning stove. The front door, situated on the middile of three floors, leads through a porch into a cosy living room with its wooden floor and beamed ceiling. Windows to the side and rear look out into woods and the garden with its pathways, terraces and mixture of mature and exotic plants and shrubs. Also on the middle floor is a double bedroom/study, also with wooden floor and beamed ceiling, and with wooden shutters on the rear facing window. A wrought iron spiral staircase leads up to the top floor.
The top floor comprises a carpeted landing and open plan master bedroom with wrought iron double bed and three windows with wooden shutters. The landing also leads into the bathroom with bath and thermostatic shower, and a further doorway leads into the third bedroom with double sofa bed and bunk beds, if required. This room is also carpeted and has two shuttered windows.
From the living room the staircase leads down into the dining/breakfast room with coire matting and tiled floor. There is a pine dining table seating six, a Welsh dresser and Sheila Maid. From the dining room a door leads into the fully fitted kitchen and on into the utility room, with washing machine/dryer and dishwasher, and to the w.c. French doors in the dining room lead out into a large and airy Victorian-style conservatory with tiled flooring.
Facilities include; gas cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV and DVD player and private parking for 2 cars. Bed linen is provided but visitors are kindly requested to bring their own towels.
